Correspondence — emails, WhatsApp messages, call notes.
Basic analytics about how you use this website (pages viewed, device, approximate location). We do not use cookies that identify you personally without consent.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
To carry out building works you've engaged us for and arrange site visits.
To meet legal, accounting and warranty obligations.
To improve our website and service.

Lawful basis

We rely on (a) your consent when you submit an enquiry, (b) the performance of a contract for customers, and (c) our legitimate interest in operating a small business and keeping records.

Sharing your data

We don't sell your data. We share it only with: our staff and insured tradesmen working on your project; our accountant; HMRC and other regulators where required by law; and IT providers (e.g. email hosting) who process data on our behalf under contract.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 12 months. Customer records: 7 years after the final invoice, to comply with HMRC and warranty obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email ompbuildingservices@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
